Buyers need to confirm floor space, foundation conditions, power, compressed air, dust control, material routes, operator access, and downstream packing. Missing one of these requirements can delay commissioning or prevent the line from reaching its planned output.
A hanger line may cover only blank preparation and assembly, or it may connect cutting, drilling, tenoning, splicing, sanding, hook insertion, crossbar fitting, bundling, and packing. The included and excluded processes must be clearly defined.
Create a process flow showing where raw wood enters, where semi-finished parts wait, and where completed hangers leave. Confirm whether operators will transfer products between stations or conveyors will connect the equipment automatically.
The scope should also identify who supplies dust collectors, air compressors, electrical cabinets, conveyors, safety fencing, and inspection stations. Clear responsibility prevents gaps during installation.
Machine dimensions alone do not represent the required installation area. Space is also needed for loading, maintenance, tool changes, electrical access, rejected-product handling, and spare materials.
The layout should keep material movement in one direction where possible. Crossing routes between raw wood, hooks, finished hangers, forklifts, and operators creates congestion and safety risks. Packaging and warehouse areas must be able to receive the planned output without blocking the line.
Door dimensions, lifting capacity, floor loading, ceiling height, columns, and drainage points should be checked before shipping. Large modules may require a clear unloading route from the container to their final positions.
Electrical voltage, frequency, phase, and grounding must match the machine specification. Compressed-air pressure and flow should be sufficient when multiple pneumatic stations operate at the same time.
Wood processing also produces dust and chips that may affect sensors, moving parts, and product finishes. Extraction points should be positioned close to drilling, cutting, or sanding stations. Lighting, ventilation, and ambient conditions should support inspection and adhesive-related processes.

Hanger line installation requirements should be agreed during project planning rather than after equipment reaches the factory. Define which hanger model will be used for testing, how output will be measured, what defect level is acceptable, and who will approve the result.
For hanger factory automation projects, operator and maintenance training should be part of acceptance. Production staff need to understand loading and first-piece inspection, while technicians need guidance on sensors, tooling, lubrication, alarms, and preventive maintenance.
Provide the equipment manufacturer with layout drawings, utility data, product samples, workflow expectations, and photographs of the installation area.
